24-7, 365, God is available. Waiting. For me. How do I respond? I want to be 24-7, 365 available. For Him. This is my life. This is 24-7 prayer.
Prayer is more like breathing than sitting in a room, on my knees with a bible by my side.
This is 24-7 prayer: I breathe in his love. I try to live with the reality that I was created to be in a relationship with God, that Jesus gave his life to allow me to be in his presence all the time, wherever I am and how ever I feel and that he gives me the Holy Spirit to help me to live like that.
This is 24-7 prayer: I breathe out his love. It is inevitable that if you live in relationship with God, you will eventually care about the things he cares about. So, in prayer I can ask God to change things, but I am also challenged to be the answer to some of those prayers.
As far as the 24-7 Prayer movement goes, I got involved in the first 24-7 prayer room in Guildford in Bojanglez nightclub at the age of 18 and have been on this adventure with a bunch of friends since. You can read all about 24-7 Prayer the movement on their website (they explain things much better than me) and if you want to know much more, I recommend reading Red Moon Rising.
